Minimalist Art Steampunk Style

As you guys know, Kevin (hubby) and I are moving towards living a minimalist lifestyle, and we’re loving it.

Did you know, Kevin is an artist?

I don’t remember if I’ve told you that or not.

. . . Well, he is, and the other day he created some cool ass steampunk/futuristic designs with only two things.

Can you guess what they were?

It was totally organic/natural . . .

. . . He created the following designs with only a flippin’ ink pen and pad of paper.

Here’s what they look like on paper.

Wouldn’t they look good on a T-shirt and sweatshirt hoodie?

Hell ya, they would!

The steampunk gangsta car would look sweet on a sweatshirt hoodie.

-So, I decided to take his hand drawn designs another step forward and did just that.

They are now in our Etsy store (DARETOLIVESHOP), because those designs are too cool not to share them with the world and give the
people who appreciate organic/hand drawn art, the opportunity to wear it.

There will be more hand drawn by pen designs by Kevin in the future, and I’m excited to find out what he comes up with next. I’m trying to talk him into creating a steampunk-type cat that is writing for a T-shirt design, but being an author, I understand you can’t force creativity, so if he’s feeling inspired to draw it, he will, if not, something else kickass will come into fruition.

-Anyway, this is another step towards the life we’re creating.

Baby steps, remember?

Our Etsy store is a side hustle that I haven’t had time to focus on to grow because I’ve been working on other projects that’ll eventually come into play with the life we’re creating.

This shit takes time, and sometimes it seems like it’s taking forever and nothing is working. That’s where patience comes in and me giving myself a pep talk on not to give up, keep going.

Eventually, everything will come together and all our hard work will pay off.

We recently did an overview on everything we’ve done this year. We’re proud of ourselves for all that we’ve accomplished, and we’re happy where we’re at and the path we’re on.

Here’s a little reminder.

Why We're Ditching The Conventional Lifestyle And Daring To Live

As you guys know, we’ve been renovating our RV. We’d be totally done by now if the weather wasn’t so miserably hot and humid last summer.

Those of you who have been following me know that Kevin and I were going to start a YouTube Channel to document our journey.

. . . Well, Kevin started it, posted up some content, and today we filmed an About Us episode. We’re totally newbies, but hey, every pro was once a newbie.

Growth begins and magic happens when you step out of your comfort zone.

Happy Easter!.

Happy Easter weekend and Easter, everyone.

Guess what?

It’s snowing again.

Yes, AGAIN!

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind winter, and I rather be cold than hot, but  . . .

I’m ready for spring.

This winter weather is pushing back my plans to film and start the renovation on Aesop.

Oh, I found curtains I want to get for my kitchen window and the window next to the booth.

I found these on Etsy.

Here’s the shop’s link if you’re interested in checking it out... https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheSleepyArmadillo?ref=l2-shopheader-name

I love Etsy.

The gal is going make the curtains to fit my windows. I need to measure the windows, but I can’t do that until the weather is decent.

*Sigh*

Anyway, this weekend is going to be low key for us. It’s just me, Kevin, and this guy . . .

We decided to have ribeye steak, bake tators, and roasted veggies on Sunday.

Yummy.

Have a wonderful weekend and Easter.

What Is My Crazy Future Plan?

So how do you like my new revamp blog?

I’m digging it and will probably play around with it later.

Why would I change my blog?

I’m moving into a totally different direction in my life that’ll eventually have to do with writing, travel, and adventure.

Eventually.

This is a year or so plan in the making.

What’s the plan?

The hubster and I bought this RV A.K.A. Aesop, last September.

Once the weather warms up, we’re going to renovate it and make it our own.

Here’s what it looks like inside right now.

It’s the total Vegas look.

Gag.

We’re going to rip up that nasty carpet, put down like a barn wood flooring, get rid of the blue velvet and brass and paint the cabinets among other things.

We’re going to document the whole renovation, so I’ll share it with you.

What’s the plan?

The hubster and I are going to travel the U.S. in our RV and be digital nomads. We’ll be creating a documentary about our adventures/travel, and I’ll continue to write as well as put other social media content out.

I just opened an Etsy store called: DARETOLIVESHOP. It’s another way to hopefully bring in some extra cash to help fund our documentary. Right now, there are cool inspirational t-shirts to buy. I’m still working on putting other products in my shop, and I’m having fun doing it. Here’s the link if you want to check it outà https://www.etsy.com/shop/DARETOLIVESHOP?ref=search_shop_redirect

It’s also on one of the tabs above.

Anyway, that’s my crazy plan—travel the US as a digital nomad in my RV and living off grid—and I'm so happy and excited about it.

I’ll be doing an update on my current writing in progress soon.

Cheers!
