Can Your RV Propane System Explode & Kill You On The Road?

Hey, you guys. We didn’t do anything on the RV this weekend because of how hot and humid it was outside.

A guy we know was supposed to come over and check out our furnace and water heater because we don’t know what’s wrong with them.

-Well, he never showed up.

. . . Anyway, I came across an article I wanted to share with you that I thought was interesting and you might think so as well. If anything, knowledge for yourself and to pass along.

It might save lives.

Here's how the article begins . . .

One of the most popular questions RVers ask each other is: can my RV propane system explode on the highway? A propane safety expert will probably say that it can and you should leave it off will driving.

It’s Monday. Do You Know What That Means?

I think most people aren’t fond of Mondays, me included. The weekends seem to fly by and the next thing you know it’s Monday.

Really?

So I thought to myself, instead of dreading it every week, turn it into a positive.

It’s a matter of perspective, right?

We all know Mondays can totally suck, but so can the other days.

What if everything goes wrong?

You slept like crap last night.

You start to fall into a nice comfortable sleep, and then the damn alarm goes off.

You hit the snooze button several times, then finally with a loud groan and possible colorful words, you drag yourself out of bed.

It’s Monday.

*SIGH*

Where did the weekend go?

Can we have a do-over?

I wasn’t ready yet.

You go into the bathroom to brush your teeth and drop your toothbrush on the floor.

You squeeze the tube of toothpaste and it shoots out all over the frickin’ counter.

What the hell?

And this is how your Monday begins.

What a way to start the week, right?

BUT!

You have a choice.

You do.

You can roll with it, laugh at each FUBAR situation, and tell yourself you will not allow these mishaps ruin your day and week.

Honestly, absurdities will happen.

Or you can allow it to get the best of you and have a shitty day and week.

It’s your choice.

I choose to see Monday as the beginning of a new week where the goals I set for myself for that week can be accomplished. Last week I wasn’t able to accomplish all of the goals I had set for that week.

No worries.

I’ll move them to this week.

Anyway, it’s Sunday night as I write this.

In an hour I go to bed.

I was thinking about Monday and decided to write this post and share with you the mindset I recently adopted regarding the dreaded Monday.

Happy Easter!.

Happy Easter weekend and Easter, everyone.

Guess what?

It’s snowing again.

Yes, AGAIN!

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind winter, and I rather be cold than hot, but  . . .

I’m ready for spring.

This winter weather is pushing back my plans to film and start the renovation on Aesop.

Oh, I found curtains I want to get for my kitchen window and the window next to the booth.

I found these on Etsy.

Here’s the shop’s link if you’re interested in checking it out... https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheSleepyArmadillo?ref=l2-shopheader-name

I love Etsy.

The gal is going make the curtains to fit my windows. I need to measure the windows, but I can’t do that until the weather is decent.

*Sigh*

Anyway, this weekend is going to be low key for us. It’s just me, Kevin, and this guy . . .

We decided to have ribeye steak, bake tators, and roasted veggies on Sunday.

Yummy.

Have a wonderful weekend and Easter.

More Snow!

Happy Friday!

I found out today we’re supposed to get clobbered with more snow.

Are you frickin’ kidding me?

A couple of weeks ago we got I think it was 14 inches of snow, and it’s finally melting.

But oh, no. Mr. Winter here isn’t done with us yet.

We’re supposed to get dumped on today, Sunday, and Monday.

Oh, and get this .  .  .

The weather peeps are predicting snow at the beginning of April as well.

Really?

I think Spring is sleeping in.

Someone needs to wake her up.

I wanted to start working on Aesop A.K.A. RV this weekend, but I guess not.

I also wanted to start filming.

But, that’s okay. I’ll be able to do those things soon enough.

So this weekend I’ll be learning how to use our new camera, hopefully—I don’t want to jinx myself—finish the second book to Legends of Deceit series, or get through the current scene I’m kinda stuck in, work on future plans, go on date night, among other things.

What are you doing this weekend?

Have a good one!
